Whilst iPhones, iPads etc can be used as remote controls and viewing for digital cameras they are normally 'with you' and therefore can immediately be used creatively with minimal fuss - almost making them the best 'camera' to use if the only one available. Processing can be before making the image with camera settings such as HDR, or afterwards through 'apps' on the phone.
The Gallery images were made on iPhones 4s & SE and an LG4. The apps used included VISCO, Hipstamatic, various versions of Snapspeed and App based overlays for washes and textures. I have also begun creating my own overlays and the effects of extending image borders.
