Perhaps the most exciting thing for Fraserburgh this week was the arrival of the 'Flying Dutchman' a square rig sailing boat. It was almost certainly the most photogenic
The other excitment for Fraserburgh Photographic Club was the monthly competition. Here are my entries
They were generally rubbished by the judge. But then what does he know hes only secretary of Edinburgh Photographic Society and Associate of the Royal Photographic Society and holder of the award of Excellence from the International Federation of Photographic Art.
However congratulations to new members Stuart Finty and Alistair Henderson who were first and second respectfuly and to Jim Gray who was third. Their images are on the Monthly Competition Page
This week I got my copy of 'Digital Photo' through the post (minus the free CD but they have sent that to me separately) and as it is my grandson Theos' birthday on Sunday I played about with one of the magazine tutorials and transformed an ordianary shot
Which isn't bad and was quite fun to do. I wonder whose birthday it is next?
Finally a few more of the images I took this week.
I'm Mike, I am the (Self appointed!) web master for Fraserburgh Photographic Society (FPS). I started taking photography seriously a couple of years ago and joined Fraserburgh Photographic Society
