The extremes of weather this week have provided lots of opportunities to take photographs. For early risers Monday morning was clear.
By Thursday it had turned grey and very windy - perfect for going down to the sea. I was in Peterhead watching the waves crash over the South breakwater.
I took a couple of other pictures that day
I put in four entries to my first Print Competition at the Photographic Society meeting on Thursday. Not surprisingly none came in the top six. But learned that for prints colours must be vibrant, focusing must be pin sharp and presentation and composition must be spot on. Next time I'll do better. Some of the top six prints can be seen here. So today I tried a more artistic approach to my photographs
