MARTIN's Art and Experimental Gallery
I see with my eyes and with my camera, my mind then looks at the possibilities...
I can explain to you how I see and why I see things in a particular way but I cannot teach you how to see - only you can do that ...
Sometimes I make an important photograph, knowing it is important at the time, and knowing that I have captured what I wanted in the photograph (subject to any processing): then the artwork develops as I work with the image. On other occasions I revisit a piece of work and see new possibilities.
I have often been using an iPhone for this work and processing in the app Snapseed. Some of my recent work has been made utilising Argentum, a monochrome App, and occasionally hand coloured - again on the iPhone.
