Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
I hope that when you open your presents you get all the camera equipment you wished for.
Well again I did not get any of my images in the top three, no surprise there then. But I did learn from the judges rmarks and I have tried to ajust my pictures acordingly. I think they are better now, do you?
Now all I have to do is have the vision to make changes before I submit them into a competition. Click here see the top three this month
Snow and a Victorian Christmas Fare
Today we had the first snow of the winter. But at lunch time it was bright and sunny so Jill and I went to the Victorian Fare at Delgatie Castle near Turriff. The snow here was deeper and more treacherous, we only skidded twice on the way there (no sign of gritters or snow ploughs). My apologies for the image quality but the car was moving at the time.
Queen Victoria (Isobel)
At the Castle we met Queen Victoria who looked very much like our friend Isobel, selling jewellery made from waste material - old cd's, broken crockery, cut up credit cards and things found on the sea shore - which with her expert hand looked fabulous.
