Loads has happened since the last blog, then it would have as it was about six weeks ago. We've had Christmas and Hogmany and lost Jessops in between!!
So I hope you all had a good Christmas and that 2013 is to you liking.
On 13th Dec my image 'Mr Jackson' won the themed competition 'Natural History' to see Mr Jackson and the other winning pictures click here.
By way of explaination the title Mr Jackson comes from Beatrix Potters book 'The Tale of Tomasia Tittlemouse' . Mr Jackson was the toad in the story. Here are my other two entries in the competition
On 15th December the East coast of Scotland experienced a 'Perfect Storm' unfortunately I didn't get ant images but there are some cracking ones around on the web here is a link to one http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=421664707903047&set=o.224451977651920&&theate
On boxing day the RNLI held a harbour swim 17 brave souls took part, swimming across part of the harbour. The woman in fancy dress is 72 years old (puts us all to shame doesn't it)
On 1st January the annual temperence walk took place in Cairnbulg. Simlar walks take place in Inverallochy (25th Dec) and St Combs (2nd Jan)
And we have had some snow here in the NE of Scotland but not as much as some parts of the country

On 24th I gave my first 'show' at a FPS club night. You will find the report here. It took ages to put the slide show together. Elements 10 doesn't like them to be too long so I had to break it up into three folders.
